  These magnetic pins are fantastic. They are similar to ugly magnets you find on expensive clothing in stores, but of course this is a nice looking button (cloth covered button, so it looks really nice!). They are strong enough to hold our weighted blanket (15 pounds) inside the duvet cover and everything stays in place on the bed, nothing moves around or slides away to the middle of the bed. I've even used them to keep the pets' lightweight bedding in place and not even sharp claws can dislodge their blankets. You can't remove the magnet from its partner unless you use the detaching-thingie that comes with the package. That's how strong these button magnets are, and will keep everything neat. Extremely simple to use, and I have no fear that they will come loose and stick anyone or a pet. That's how strong these magnet and pins are. You cannot dislodge them unless you use the detacher-thingie. Whatever you do, don't lose the detacher, which looks like a small tube of lipstick, and don't lose the magnet and its partner. One without the other renders it useless. I will order more sets for family members.
