- Reviewed in Canada on June 9, 2022I tried the regular thermal paste under the CPU and liquid silver under the GPU. I believe the liquid metal is better as heat transfer medium. It's easy to apply with the black q-tip. Surfaces need to be very clean. It needs to be very little on the q-tip and then apply by rubbing on the surface. the silicon die gets covered right away as the copper lid a bit slower. temperatures are lower now on the GPU than before.
