  This is the only vertical bracket I could find that doesn't require a Swiss ARCA plate or other adapter.
  
  I was able to use this with my cheap tripod, just attaching the bottom part of the bracket onto the quarter inch screw on my tripod's plate.
  
  I then screwed the vertical part of the bracket directly into my camera's mount hole (Sony A5100).
