  So claims that small movements will cause the alarm to trigger, totally doesn't work. I near had to rip the thing off the steering wheel to get it to work. I sat there for a good few minutes just tapping the thing constantly and it never alarmed once. Shook it for a few minutes, no dice. Reset it again and progressively worked up to lifting the thing inches up and hitting the windshield to get the thing to finally go off. So if you want it for the look, sure it looks enough to maybe deter a criminal, I wanted it for the alarm but its so insensitive, I assume you could have it cut off and be long gone before the thing would start screaming on the ground where your vehicle once was.
