  The video does really do the screen justice but it does light up half decent. Things I don’t like about it is that it always has to be connected to a power source. The plug in on the light source itself is very snug. Which means down the line it’s going to be an issue. Have used it for slides. Best way I have found (no app required) is to take a pic of the slide then just enlarge it on your phone tablet etc and just drop out the outlying bits. Am not a fan of downloading apps from essentially unknown sources. Also it lies flat. There’s no mount or arm in the back to prop it up which means it’s going to take up a lot of desk space.
