Well. I did what the instructions said and only tightened the extend nut to where I thought I would not break that lock nut. Which I thought was pretty tight.
I had golfed 27 holes or so with it, checking the lock nut here and there and having to tighten it up here and there. On one of my swings, the club broke in half and luckily the coffee table stopped the broken flying piece before it made it too my picture window. So I suggest buying the one piece club they have. Much safer!
