Bought this as a secondary HTPC key/mouse, I still use a full size set primarily. Initially had some trouble with it disconnecting after a period not being used, but that seems to be my Manjaro Linux OS before some updates fixed it.
IR Remote learning system is pretty finicky, but once you've got codes learned, works fine. Stuck having to use the direction buttons as volume for my purpose, would rather have a separate set of up/down buttons for that. Ideally I would like the larger main direction buttons to be usable as keyboard cursor keys, especially since the small ones on the keyboard side don't rotate their function like the touchpad does.
The touchpad sensitivity is pretty low, even with the button to cycle through "DPI" settings. It would be better if I could tell which DPI setting it's on, and be sure that it saves and continues on that setting when switched off/on. Hard to tell the difference between 2 of the 3 DPI settings. Higher sensitivity would be best though.
Backlight is great. The dual mode Bluetooth vs proprietary dongle is great, but would be awesome if there was a built in spot to store the dongle. I carry this around with me as emergency backup for work as well, where I sometimes need to access a headless computer directly, instead of remotely. Being able to slap in the dongle and go is perfect.
