  These boxes don't look ugly and fit my bookshelves and drawers perfectly. I used these to organize a CD collection and keep it visible so I will actually play some old(ish) stuff, and corral some other items. Stackable when laid on sides except they don't line up exactly flush/flat but that's fine. The plexi is a good thickness. It took me forever to find what I wanted and I'm now obsessed with admiring them lol. You have to peel off the protective film that is on the plexiglass when they cut the original sheet - - will come out of box frosted, don't freak out...they are clear acrylic boxes. Out of my 8 total, one (the very last one unpacked...figures lol) was cracked and broken in the corner.
