    I bought one of these but it was defective - the sensor would not detect that there was water in the tank. Back and forth, back and forth with customer service: the sent me a new tank and other wrong parts, which did not solve the problem. I ended up returning the machine.
    But I bought again, this time $50 cheaper, and it works well.
    There is one issue with these machines: if you like HOT coffee, this machine is not for you. Even in the highest setting, this machine does not produce hot coffee. What I do is zap it in the microwave for 15-29 seconds, depending on the size of the drink.
    3 stars, Philips: you can do better than this.
