- Reviewed in Canada on June 15, 2021I'm so happy to have rediscovered this cleanser again. The first thing I feel like I should note is to know your skin. I have read numerous reviews about people saying the mentol burnt their skin hurt their eyes. If you have sensitive skin..you're probably better off staying away from this product as it will probably irritate your skin as it very clearly states it has menthol in it.
Now for my review. This product has never irritated my eyes and I love the menthol in it as I find it extremely fleshing. It's like chewing mint gum but if you could chew it with your face, I'm not sure how else to describe it.
I am someone who has combination skin which doesn't break out but gets pretty oily as the day goes on and this has transformed my skin. I no longer wear foundation in the summer as my skin glows and is beautifully hydrated. I am someone who likes to oil cleanse in the evening - this has now replaced my oil cleanser. It does contain a faint fragrance which I normally don't like however, the scent for this cleanser is a light flower scent which I find pleasant. It has a nice consistency and as a refreshing feel to it once applied and removed. I like to use this as a cleaner/mask each time I use it, I'll apply it and brush my hair then rinse it off and my skin loves me for it. In the beginning I experienced some break outs but it was mostly from my clogged pores becoming ungunked. Overall, I have found that it leaves my skin looking radiant and has helped clear the blackheads on my nose.
I have now made this a staple in my skincare routine.
