Terrible sound, but only for about 2 or 3 minutes. Then it loses its mind .. no sound, no response to controls .. and has to be power cycled. Reboot brings it back to normal .. for about 2 or 3 minutes. But the sound is SO BAD that the crash .. and resulting silence .. is almost a blessing.

The only good news is that it's so cheap that when I take a hammer to it, the "therapy" won't have cost me much.
