  Bought my GF an Alienware m14 r2 compact (& thinnest) laptop. Then realized it got untouchable hot when playing games so after some thoughtful shopping, settled on this Klim Turbofrost cooler pad.
  
  No icy frost but it does work. Temps easily went down 10-15c on highest fan speed ofcos. Unit looks reasonable well built & I'm hoping it'll last. Recommended for now
