Update: Later found a wifi usb and a small piece of paper saying to remove the packaging from inside, that had got set aside when it was unboxed. Both were very small and easy to miss. I had assumed the wifi would have been installed. A sticker on the unit would be a big help to open and remove the packaging. We've been using it for a month now and it has been great for my sons gaming needs.

Original post: Bought as an introductory PC for my 10 year old and it works great for a reasonable price. However when we started it up the fan made an awful sound and we couldn't connect it to the wifi. We're not very techy people and so took it to a repair shop to look at to see if it was a simple fix before returning it.

Turns out when they opened it, there was packaging inside to protect it from shipping, once that was removed the fan was whisper quiet.

However there was no wifi card even though it said it has wifi in the description. We purchased a wifi antenna for $20 and problem solved.

Tech confirmed that all the other components were as described. Working great now, but it would be good if there was a sticker or some sort of notice to remove the packaging from inside as other reviewers have also complained about the fan noise. The lack of wifi card though is annoying .
