The Kingpin Cooling Thermal Grease is excellent and works like a charm. It is expensive (there is a good sale for a 2 pack for $40 that I would get instead of the single one which is $13 cheaper), and there isnt a lot in the tube so if you have to redo your paste you will run out (trust me, I KNOW!!). You will pay a premium for this paste, you can get ones for less than $15, but why these brands charge their prices is because there is a fair bit of science that goes into their paste and the major value with going with these brands (especially Kingpin) is their pastes do NOT get thin or soft as the paste heats up, which happens with the cheaper paste. So where as this paste will keep your temps cool for years before you will want to reapply, the cheaper pastes you will need to reapply after a few months as you notice your system temps creeping up. I used the more main stream paste and the temps over all in the beginning to be fair was the same (maybe a degree or two higher) but not big difference but I wanted to remove and reapply the paste for my AIO water cool kit I purchased and after heating up my CPU I was able to easily remove the CPU block because the cheaper paste was thin and it was easy to remove the block. I had the Kingpin on it and I had to reapply the paste a few months later due to an issue with the AIO not the paste and even after heating up the CPU the block held onto the chip for dear life!! This paste does not get thin at all. It kept its consistency and that is what you are paying for. Great product! Also, if you put the paste on with an "X" or the center dot method you will have enough for a few tries, but I spread my paste over the entire CPU surface so I ran out very fast.
