  These replacement air filters slide & fit into my Levoit LV-PUR131 very snuggly and securely. There's an extra thin layer of foam around the HEPA filter, so you will need to push with a bit of force to fit the filter into the slot; but once in, it forms a very snug and secure fit.
  
  The carbon filter looks to have about the same amount of activated carbon as the OEM product and weighs just about the same as well.
  
  The HEPA filter also seems to be very similar to the OEM, with the initial layer having the "sheen" look. After a month of use, it looks to be doing a very good to excellent job at filtering, as evident by the layer of very fine dust on it.
  
  With these new filters, when the Levoit is running on high, it's fairly quiet, on par with the OEM filter set. I previously used another brand of replacement filters, the fit was slightly loose, so whenever the filter runs on HIGH, it makes a rattling sound which made sleeping very difficult (I have this filter in the bedroom).
