  I am just looking into it now, but it doesn't seem to use ASIO (app ASIO4ALL may he a workaround); it installed immediately, but be sure to use a powered port; USBMIDI WORKS, but have not tried the MIDI ports yet
  
  It was inexpensive, though... So I guess there's the tradeoff.
