- Reviewed in Canada on May 22, 2025I drove a new rental that had apple car play and fell in love with it. I wanted to add that to my car. During my research, I found this on amazon and after reading the positive reviews decided to give it a try. I've been using it for few days and here are my thoughts.
-it has wireless android auto and apple CarPlay. I have an iPhone and it connects instantly after I start the car.
-unlink many cheap screen, this one had no delays or lags when I’m using it and touchscreen is super responsive.
-it can be mounted to the windscreen (using suction cup mount) or on the dashboard (using sticky tape mount). I mounted it to the windshield because I wanted to find a good spot for it and it's easy to move the suction cup mount.
-It also comes with the wide angle backup camera. The video quality is decent during the day and it comes with enough length of cable so I had no issues wiring it .
-it also has a built in Dashcam. it’s adjustable in multiple ways and you can position it exactly where you need it. it also came with 64 GB SD card, so it's ready to be used out of the box. This card can save few days old video (depends how much you drive). I would get a bigger card if you want to save videos of more days.
-Screen is not too big (9inches) and doesn't obstruct your vision. it's easy to read also has an sensor which automatically adjusts the brightness
I have been using it for few weeks now and overall it's holding up great and in my opinion a must upgrade for older cars.
