The slide on type fall off while your wearing them and I'm not that rough with my hands! I've had to hunt these little Plastic clips down a few times now... for my pets sake. They are hard but slightly bendy and do slide back and forth around your ring so there's that Issue! Possibly a little more silicone might help them keep their grip a little better. I would have returned but they do help keep 1 of my 3 rings, that they are on, from spinning around my finger backwards... mostly the wide banded 1. The picture shows the 2nd type I bought... the little consecutive circle type. Concept I'd great on paper but not practical is everyday use. Our rings are loose at the thinnest part of our finger, thinner than our knuckles so.... you must put your ring on first then Try to twist these long lengths around until you feel your ring tighter and won't spin around anymore, hopefully. If you're right handed addingbthem to your tight hand is a little more difficult to twist on then the cut. After you cut it there are edges that keep unraveling or poking your hand. I'm sure partners will notice the bulky extra pcs when holding your hand. Not to mention you can take your rings off very easy as you have just tightened them so they aren't loose to spin they no longer go over your knuckle. Lastly adding hand lotion will allow some to get trapped in these circles... making it look dirty. Also after doing dishes they Def change colour to a brownish tinge. See my pic after dished then hand lotion after about 1week or so wear.
