  My 2005 Avalanche did not like the cold and little use so the battery got very low, would not even turn over. It can now run. Note, I also have a 5 amp charger I use on my RV. The amp fuses are different so do not mix the clamp.
  cables up or the 5amp charger will blow the 1 amp charger cable fuse (2 amp fuse). It did take 3 days to get a green light on my dead battery in my Avalanche.
