  This fits a 3 inch binder 2 textbooks, pencil case stuffed to the brim, a laptop and laptop bag and all the goodies that go with it. And the Canadian electrical code book. (Big thick text book)
  The straps don't hurt, probably carrying about 30-50 lbs on my back and doesn't feel like it, the back pack handled it like a champ.
