  At first I found the auto mode was not working but found if I turned down the volume in the app before doing a setup on my AVR it would boost the signal level going to the Sub and then it would work.
  
  There is no indication on the back if it goes to suspend mode so you just need to assume it is working.
  
  I have Emotiva T2 tower speakers and a 350 watt amp and I expected the Sub to not be very adequate but I am very happy with how it performs.
  
  The program they have to choose a Sub said I should be using a SB4000 but that was out of my budget.
  
  I am happy with the Sub for music and home theater.
