- Reviewed in Canada on October 16, 2024We just moved to the desert and the place we moved to, although beautiful, has tons and tons of insects!! Ewww. Tons of black widows, regular spiders, stink bugs( large ones!) Grasshoppers, Beetles,rattle snakes youeffiing name it, etc. Anyway, I heard that in Arizona,there were exterminators you could get to spray a perimeter to keep scorpions away, done deal! Sign me up. So when I looked up what to do ,I came across this product and it had some great reviews. It really works!! (I mostly wanted it for the black widow spiders... )
After more research I found it's totally safe and actually used in agriculture community. But studies show it can be irritating to cats,, so to avoid having your kitty around while spraying.
I have kids and a cat, so we sprayed when they were out of the house. We re no strangers to permethrin for lice, lol. As that's an active ingredient in this product and that's how it works. 🤭 apparently there's also hiking hear infused with it .
So, I ended up getting an electric spraying( do it ,its worth the investment as I literally sprayed a perimeter around the house . I sprayed right over my patio furniture , the floor around the soft tub and the hotub itself ( with cover on, not in the water. It's well sealed)
After completing the application, I noticed that
Insects still land ,but they either take off immediately like " oh crap!!!" Or if they landed for more than seconds, I guess the toxin takes effect and neutralizes them and they become " sleepy" and eventually die. I woke up to a bunch of dead stink bugs hornets and grasshoppers. It was like a locust fest.
First thing I noticed while spraying was lemongrass smell, it was actually quite nice. While i was spraying there were stink bugs and hornets around so i sprayed over them and they become immobile and die.
My husband thought spent $48 on a gimmick that wouldn't work and i left for work and he said he found a bumch of dead insects around the house and black widows!
I am so happy with this product that ill be ordering more and now he took over because he likes to spray his zones haha. I proved him wrong. Haha! And we're bug free, double win.
