  This splitter was the final piece I needed to play both my Alexa and desktop computer through both the desktop satellite speaker and HTD Lync whole house audio. I already a 2nd splitter (2 female, 1 male) and a wire with 2 male ends and a Lync pad. I was unsure if this configuration would work, but it works perfectly. I can now tell Alexa to play a song & it gets played wherever I want throughout the house.
