  The unit did increase my range significantly. I can now get strong wifi from the office while parked outside. Without this unit i had to park in front of the office. Now I can park the equivalent of two rows of trailers away and still have a good signal. I had no trouble getting it to work with Windows 10 by following the instructions from the Internet.
