  This is not super compatible with older models of cuisinart press. The older models have a tab that allows for the plates to latch into the press. The new plates have holes where you
  Can attach a set of these tabs, but these plates do not come with the tab. We did take the tabs from our griddle plates (came with the machine) for use for these but you would not want to do that change often or you would wear the screws and holes. Once we got them clipped in, they were a little rickety but still made great waffles! Which is good because now without the griddle we are short on pancakes.
