  I've been using this for about 2 years, haven't had to charge the battery and it's great for parking my e-bike in the city. Sometimes I just leave my helmet hanging on the bike and the battery on (it can probably be kicked off), but the alarm is deterrent to a thief to mess around with the bike while it's parked. If I'm nearby I'll also hear it. The remote works great and I also use it as a horn sometimes by pressing the button.
