  I have used Command hooks before with great success. These ones were very disappointing. I followed the instructions carefully, affixed the hook to a clean, dry wall and two lightweight pictures came crashing down. So I tried again, being very careful not to touch the adhesive on the tape and making sure to press the hook on the wall for the length of time recommended. Still didn't hold. I ended up returning these and using a good old fashioned picture hanger with a nail.
