  Aqara needs to go back to the drawing board with this one. My ball valve had a butterfly handle, but it was too large for the T1 valve controller and I could not get proper clearance underneath the controller to make it work (even with the included butterfly accessory). I then changed the valve handle to a lever type. My pipe was too large to use the standard bracket mount, so I tried using the pipe clamp as per the instructions. After a couple of hours of attempts, it was not possible to secure the T1 tight enough to the pipe. Attempting to close the valve simply made the T1 itself move and contort.
  
  My return window is passed so I'll be selling this off. Time to move on to the more expensive Zooz Titan and see if that works.
