- Reviewed in Canada on December 10, 2021I bought this as I was looking for a filler free wet cat food after trying to pin down what she's allergic to when the vet wasn't being very helpful. The vet had suggested we buy some expensive dry food from them which I came to realize is trash. My light bulb moment came when I started researching ingredients in cats wetfood and decided I had to find something with more wholesome ingredients. After buying this product, I couldn't be more thrilled. My cats absolutely LOVE this wet food and they normally aren't big fans of pate. After feeding them this for weeks I've noticed the scratching and excess licking have completely stopped so its safe to say this will be a staple for their wet food for the rest of their lives. Sometimes it pays to do your own research as some vets are just out there to see how they can make money.
Pros
- even though it's pate, my cats love the taste
- less filler products like other cheap wet food (equals allergies disappearing)
- is a decent price point
Con
- cans are smaller then other wet cat foods which was disappointing at first but I have since come to like
- wish it came it more flavours/styles (chunks with gravy) like previous cat foods I've bought.
Overall, I can say this cat food is a win. You get less filler so a better product which my cats enjoy. It doesn't cost me a fortune and previous allergy concerned have been solved.
