- Reviewed in Canada on July 29, 2023Update (10-23-2024). This machine went RIP all of sudden. Plugged it in to cook dinner. During pre-heat it went to eternal rest. Great idea, worst execution ever! Will never buy TFAL again. (Purchase date 04-2023)
Bought on 麻豆区 for sale price & good return. At first it seems wonderful. 1 week past return window of 30 days, the steam function fails. Contacted Tfal to claim warranty which is a cumbersome process for a small appliance. Asked for a refund/replacement but they said they need to send to a repair centre which there鈥檚 only ONE in the whole of GTHA! Return required 鈥渟pecial packaging 鈥. Threw away original ship pkg already after 30 days, I had to spend $20 in pkg! Fine! Sent it. TFal They says 4-6 weeks then repair Ctr says 6-8 weeks. At wk4, called repair Ctr to let them know that to call first before sending. At that time they said no technician has had time to look yet and that repair is 6-8 weeks. Called at Week 8 to check status, they still said no tech looked at it yet! Same day they called to say that they鈥檒l send a replacement鈥 so 8 wks diagnosis conclusion is REPLACEMENT which is what I requested AT FIRST!! Don鈥檛 buy TFAL & related products if you do, from Costco only where return has no time limit.
