Well I had some reservations after all how do you produce 200W RMS from 12 x 10 = 120 W power input?
I thought I'd give it a try and see how it would work as the form factor (size) was attractive.
Well I tested it with a pair of 4 ohm car speakers I used to drive with a real 100W per channel amp.
The only way I could get any kind of decent output from the amp was to do what the installation instructions tell you not to do - drive my ipod into line level / RCA low level input. It seemed to handle that ok - if you cranked it up there was distortion - but no way it was putting out 100W or anything close with music. I'd like to know how they measure 100W RMS output. Not enough output for what I needed. Might be useful for something else.
