  Unfortunately, the pedal mat has not made a difference to my original problem of keeping the pedal foot in place while sewing. Both the mat and the pedal do not keep in place when foot is applied. The pad shifts and the pedal moves about, so I'm not seeing the benefit to having this item. I will add rubber bumpers to both mat and pedal foot and hope this keeps these firmly in place.
