I recently purchased the MacBook Air (2017). I was keeping my fingers crossed - I received a clean and good condition Macbook, no scratches etc. I had to install the software upgrades which took some time - but post that Macbook works well and I'm happy that I got a clean piece delivered.
The battery however was nonfunctional and the Macbook would turn off in 2-3 minutes without power. I had seen similar comment from other reviews - so that makes me wonder why the re-sellers are not checking batteries before dispatching - that need to do some QA right !! Anyway, not wanting to part with this piece I ordered a battery from 鶹 ( $42) and replaced it easily. I now have a fully functional Macbook post some work being done.
I really urge the resellers to fix battery issues before dispatching.
