It is a simple and economic. However, it is not very effective. It MUST be laid flat on the ground with direct sunlight. It will not work well otherwise. I had a small hole develop due to moving it around. I had to move to other side of pool (sunny spot) due to space limitation. Extensions that are long enough are not readily available. I used pool cleaning hoses and retrofitted with stainless steel clamps. The solution works, but the pumps will complain of low pressure. It may be better to run a separate line than the main filtration/chlorinator line. Putting more in series would make the problem worse. This can be effective, if more than one is used and with direct sunlight.
