  I bought this so I didn't have to plug in to a physical cable all the time. Unfortunately it is hit or miss for me. If I am first setting it up, and adding the bluetooth device in my phone, it works fine. As soon as I turn off the car and try it again, it doesn't seem to remember how to connect to the radio properly. My phone correctly connects to the plug and says "looking for android auto" but the screen on my radio just shows the BT device name and ID, like I am setting it up for the first time. When it is working, it sounds just as good as the physical cable and all the buttons work properly. Unfortunately it is pretty much useless to me if I have to go through the repairing process every time to get it working and would rather just plug in the cable and deal with it.
