The other reviewers are right when they mention that some of the reds are not as vibrant as they could be... My main complaint is thay the wood looks non uniform and cheap...and split at various times sharpening. Make sure (if you want a finer point) to use a larger end on a manual sharpener. Otherwise the end just snaps off like in this picture. I'm an artist that has a very sketchy style.. so I find these pencils blend very well. You really need to make sure you follow the form of the shape you are coloring as these are oil based and don't seem to bloom or matte together like a wax based pencil. For the cost these pencils are absolutely wonderful. The packaging was a bit overkill...however it shows the company cares that their product arrives without damage. Thank you Ohuhu.
