  This is a pretty handy probe that checks out a wide array of garden stats. The probe takes 2 AAA batteries and automatically shuts off if not used for 30 minutes, helping to prevent battery drain.
  The probe has been reading accurately according to my other devices I have here. Wiping the probe between uses will help preserve the life of the unit.
  I like that it can also assess the quality of light that the plants are receiving, which is helpful for indoor plants. A really nice unit that is the perfect helper for any gardener!
