  This switch is very plug and play. I'm using all 3 inputs for 1080p and 2k quality feeds. The output goes to an older TV. Picture quality is 1080p. With the switch in the path, picture quality is just as good as it was direct from the satellite box. It took only a couple of minutes to set everything up, and now I can use the remote to select the input device rather than using TV menus. Faster and easier. The switch case quality reflects the price, but it works great.
