    Love these. It made making probiotics a reality without worry. These lids are perfect for making Kimchi and saurkraut... so far these are all I have made, but these made it perfectly safe and easy. Love our Kimchi!

    These lids stop oxygen from entering, while allowing C02 out, so no worries about things going bad.

    You need to buy wide-mouth jars. I use 1.8 litre jars. This is so easy to use, hardest part is prep crushing the cabbage to draw out the water and to allow the salt to be drawn in to preserve.

    Love this kit and the health benefits and security of preserved food. I purchased a second set of glass to weigh down the cabbage inside, and so far have found between 2 & 3 weeks on my kitchen counter to be perfect for flavour and citric acid levels, very tasty.

    We make 5 to 6 litres (3 x 1.8L) each batch, and they do not last us 2 months, but apparently the salted preserves will last many months in your fridge.
