  I left four stars because these fans work well. HOWEVER, after a week, it began to develop issues when I turn it on. It would start to spin for one second and then stop. Turn it on again, it would spin for one second and stop. The only way I could keep it going is to hit start one second, and hit start a second time one second later. I love this fan, but may need to return it due to this issue. I also bought a second one (both for my sun room that gets very warm, but it is still in the box, so I hope this flaw is not something they all have.
  
  Update: I figured out the reason this fan was not starting was due to the "centrifugal kick" it has when it tries to start. That kick was moving the power connector on the top that caused a slight interruption to the power. I was able to fix this by using a tyrap binding the cable so it won't move when it kicks on.
