- Reviewed in Canada on June 3, 2025Used this to spray the inside of my air filter compartment in my car as I was getting a musty smell and thought this would help kill off the mustiness due to its disinfecting properties. I wasn鈥檛 expecting it to smell so good and fresh! The only thing I鈥檇 recommend is including a spray nozzle similar to wd40 to spray into hard to reach places.
Here is process to clean the air ducts. Take out your air filter turn your AC to max and your fan to full and while your fan is at full blast spray into the compartment where your air filter would be the self circulate the Lysol throughout the air ducts. Cycle into the heat, setting on maximum heat and repeat the same process also cycle through the different air modes so that you had all the vents. Lastly, turn off the air, recirculation, and spray Lysol with the fan on full, where your exterior comes in, which is usually next to your wipers. Hope this helps.
