  I'm still at the stage where I think of paper like socks. I notice the moment something's wrong with it, but if I don't notice a thing, it must be good.
  
  This seems like a nice, generic paper for sketching with dry media like pencil, charcoal, pencil crayon, oil pastels... and probably loads more I haven't tried. It doesn't like watercolour and doesn't do well with ink from a fountain pen or dip pen (feathers - spread out to make a thicker line).
  
  On the whole, I'm very happy learning to sketch with this paper. It's a good size and doesn't let me down.
