I have it hooked up running into a HDMI splitter and then all my consoles are plugged into the other end of the HDMI splitter so i have to have my laptop turned on and the 4k capture app to hear it or unmute the tv but this is the way i set it up and this way i can share my footage with my friends and record it. It's super amazing and useful It receives a input signal of up to 4K HDR 60 fps and if you can record in HDR if your laptop can support it then do it, it dramatically changes the pictures and makes it alot more vibrant. Its very easy to use, plug it into your computer via the usb cable and plug the other cable into your console and tv and your good to go. Just open the 4K capture app and there's a link on where to download the app when you buy it and don't worry its very safe. You can change the settings on the app and record on that app or record using obs.
