Customer Review

Bought this for my son's birthday. As the day arrived he opened it with much excitement.

Virtual sound option is available through Windows with sonic. Other options like side-tone and equalizer are available only if you install the iCue software. Overall I'm really impressed by how easy it was to get going. You cannot use virtual sound and equalizer at the same time.

Mic seems slightly too quiet, and having an analog volume control separate from OS volume is slightly weird, but quite acceptable.

Battery didn't run out on any of the days we used it, but my son isn't used to putting it on charge after using it, so he did run out eventually. One pain point there is that you have to install the iCue software and go to the settings area to see the charge level. This really should be easier to find.

    ---

The bad part? A week after his birthday the right speaker stopped working. Because I ordered it more than a month before his birthday, the return window has already closed.

Tried it on my Mac - same simple setup, just plug in the dongle - but the right speaker still did not work, so it's likely a hardware problem.
