The Bose sound link revolve+ Bluetooth speaker is fantastic, with impeccable sound and clarity. You are to charge the speaker鈥檚 internal battery with the supplied mini USB cord. That is the same cord you have to use if you buy the charging cradle accessory. The shortfall is that the cord easily slips out of its slot in the base of the cradle. I had read the reviews of this and I have to agree 100% that this is a great little accessory but the Bose engineers dropped the ball on this connection. It is indeed a very weak link for a great little product. My simple opinion would be for about two dollars Bose could attach a permanent cord which would eliminate all this frustration. I took it upon myself to just directly glue the cord into the base. As a matter of convenience I did end up with two charging cradles and both are exactly the same. The supplied Bose USB cord is very finicky and if you happen to move the base you lose charging connection you have to fidget with it to make sure it鈥檚 charging your speaker. See my attached picture of where I just filled it with sealant and I am hoping that solves my ONLY frustration with this item.
