The DeathAdder Elite is a great mouse! Several years back I used the non-chroma DeathAdder as my main and it lasted me a good three years before the left-click started dying. I switched to an ambidextrous mouse for awhile, but eventually found myself coming back to the DeathAdder because it just felt "right" for my big hands and I think that's just a testament to how nicely this mouse works.
Paired with Synapse, you are given access to a plethora of customization options from configuring mouse DPI to changing its chroma colours, customizing buttons and setting up game-specific profiles. If you have a Razer-specific mouse surface, the Synapse driver even gives you the option to calibrate your mouse to that surface as well. The DeathAdder Elite gave me zero issues with regards to movement or tracking anomalies when lifting the mouse off the surface I was using and its accuracy is smooth and pin-point for both daily use and gaming applications. The mouse is a decent length with a nice upper "bulk" which gave it a really nice fit for my big hands, and because it's designed to be hand-specific (Left or right-handed), the overall ergonomics molds to my whole hand very nicely as well. Palm-grip mouse users rejoice!
This mouse as served me well, but as much as I love this thing, I'm a tad bit disappointed at the lifespan for this one. My very first DeathAdder lasted me a good three years, and I'm fine with that. This new DeathAdder Elite however, only lasted me a little over two and a half years before the right-click started failing and I do wish it held up better. Granted, I do play first and third-person shooters quite heavily. Nevertheless, out of all the Razer mice I've used, the DeathAdder is the one I always find myself coming back to and I stand by the fact that this thing is a solid product.
I would highly recommend this mouse, especially if you can get it on sale for cheap!
