I really like this chromebook a lot more than I was expecting. The keyboard is good and the screen is large and bright. I enabled the linux shell and am using it for programming Java and and NodeJS programs, and it's working really well for me. It seems about 40% slower than my M2 Macbook for the things I'm doing, but that's more than sufficient, especially when you consider the large price difference. The only weakness is the trackpad, which isn't nearly as good as on the Mac, but again, it's in a completely different price range and I'll just use a mouse when I can.
