- Reviewed in Canada on January 6, 2025Fire sticks are fantastic, they make navigating my TV a breeze and I bought one for each of my two TVs and this is what I've learned. This particular 鶹 Fire TV Stick HD is good for many reasons but it makes things much slower. I found out that the reason for this is that I had too many apps opened on my TV so I deleted the ones that I wasn't using which really only left a few but it speeded things up quite a bit.
The other Firestick I purchased was much better, perfect for functionality and speed, it is 鶹 Fire TV Stick 4K streaming device which was more expensive but I got both of these at almost half price on one of the 鶹 days. I had no issues with a 4K fire stick as far as the number of apps I have opened and no issues with speed.
Both fire sticks were surprisingly easy to hook up, and Wi-Fi connection was easy, I usually find these things frustrating but not these. I definitely recommend fire sticks but you can save yourself a lot of hassle by buying a little more expensive one with a little more capacity, it's definitely worth it.Report PermalinkHelpful
