- Reviewed in Canada on December 20, 2022Great sprouting trays for large seeds. For growing barley grass fodder they are excellent and we have a good crop within 5 days. For smaller seeds, the holes are too big and the seeds fall through. Wheat is just manageable. Winter Red wheat is slightly smaller than the soft yellow and a few seeds slip through.
Keep them clean! I wash and spray with Hydrogen Peroxide. We had a few cases of mold growing on the seeds , presumably from trays not sterilized.
