- Reviewed in Canada on May 13, 2025This is my third-gen wireless CarPlay adapter, and so far it鈥檚 been working really well with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I鈥檓 using it with my 2017 Honda Pilot, and setup was pretty straightforward 鈥 just plug it in and pair it with my phone over WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. The connection has been solid and stable, with no noticeable dropouts.The media could not be loaded.
One thing I really appreciate is how compact it is. It fits easily into my console without getting in the way, and it definitely helps cut down on cable clutter. My dashboard looks a lot cleaner now.
I鈥檝e also used it for longer drives while streaming YouTube, and the system hasn鈥檛 overheated or slowed down at all. No lag or disconnects so far. Overall, I鈥檓 pretty happy with it.
